Muzi
"I like being able to try out different cars"
02.10.2025

Muzi enjoys beautiful vintage cars and sports cars. He still enjoys car sharing for stargazing or romantic journeys through the snow.
Why did you switch from owning your own car to car sharing?
I moved from Menziken to Lucerne and realised that it isn't worth having my own car, as everything is super easy to reach by public transport. And yet I sometimes needed a car. That's how I came across Mobility. That was two years before I started at Mobility.
What concerns or worries did you have that turned out to be wrong?
To be honest, I didn't have any.
How do you get about at the moment?
I currently live in Thun. I mostly use public transport or a Vespa here too. When I need a car, I use my in-law's car or a Mobility car.
What does the Mobility offer look like where you are?
I have a Mobility car a five-minute walk away. And some more nearby. There are also convertibles, vans, etc. at Thun station.
What do you use Mobility for?
I need Mobility when we drive to "remote" places where we go hiking or walking. Also to dispose of waste and when I have to go to the vet. When I visit my parents, I take public transport to Sursee and take a Mobility vehicle from there.
Be honest: Are there situations when you miss having your own car?
It hasn't happened yet. I once had a beautiful Alfa, but there was always something wrong with it. I had to have something repaired practically once a month.
Nevertheless, I enjoy beautiful cars and wouldn't rule out having my own car again in future. If so, it would be a classic car or sports car that's not intended for everyday use.
What has been the biggest positive effect for you since you started car sharing?
Not having any concerns. I don't have to worry about anything. I can just get in a car and drive off. In addition, I'm always able to try out different cars, which I really enjoy.
«It bothers me when the person who used the car before me doesn't leave it clean.»
How do you think car sharing could be made even better?
i don't think it's very cool when the person who used the car before you doesn't leave it clean. That's the thing that bothers me the most.
What would you do if Mobility's offer did not exist?
Then I would use my in-laws' car more often or look for another car sharing provider.
What's your best car sharing tip for beginners?
Just take the plunge: There's not much you can do wrong with Mobility. And if you do something wrong, it's not the end of the world. The hotline is also available 24 hours a day.
Have you had any memorable experiences using Mobility?
I've been using Mobility for seven years now and have experienced a lot.
I once had a negative experience: I had a little accident when I was getting out of a parking space because I didn't see something.
But there have also been some very nice moments with Mobility: Driving to see my family in the snow with Christmas music on the radio, stargazing on the Brünig, a trip in a convertible around Lake Thun, excursions with family and friends. I have a lot of beautiful memories.
