… the Mobility cars clean? 245’000 customers share the Mobility cars. A car is used by an average of nine people per week. When something gets used that much, there’s bound to be some wear and tear of course. Our mobile fleet care staff are in action every day to ensure that the vehicles stay on the road for as long as possible and that the cars are always clean when you come to use them. Here we introduce you to one of them in person. Take a look for yourself.

What condition would you like to find your Mobility car in when you come to use it?

Before you return the car, always take a look at it and ask yourself if you’d be happy to find the car that condition. Have you gathered up all your stuff and taken out your rubbish? Have you transported something that has left marks you ought to remove? Or have you been on a walk in the woods and the car looks as if you’ve been rally racing – so a quick wash would be in order?

What should I do if I’ve left something in the car?

You can reserve the vehicle and collect the item yourself as quickly as possible, or select the relevant reservation under “My journeys” on the customer portal and click on “Give feedback”. You can then select “Search order (CHF 50)” and enter what you have lost.

We will look for the item for you and if we find it, we will send it to you. The shipping costs will be invoiced to you. We will let you know within ten working days. The search order costs CHF 50 regardless of whether the item is found or not. Please note that we only check the vehicle used and do not ask any other customers about it.

I have found an item in the vehicle. What should I do?

Please put it in the glove box – larger items in the boot. Our employees take care of the next steps. You don’t need to contact us. If you have taken the item home with you, please return it to the vehicle.

What should I do if I spill something?

Murphyʼs Law – it happens to the best of us. Try to clean it yourself as best you can. If the car is no longer as clean as you would like it to be, please inform our 24h service center at 0848 824 812So that we can clean the car professionally and organise a replacement.

How can I prevent the inside from getting dirty?

Better safe than sorry!

  1. When transporting something, always put something like a blanket or sheet underneath it to protect the inside of the car.
     

  2. Especially when transporting dogs, cats and other pets in a Mobility car, always be sure to use some sort of protective layer underneath and also an animal box.
     

  3. The same applies when transporting bicycles, potting compost, wood and the like.

What can I use to protect the inside of the car?

You can use a blanket you brought with you, a plastic tarpaulin or simply a newspaper, as you can see in the video of our Visit to the garden centre you can see. (more)
