Mobility employees tell us about their experience
Juliet
"I'm always able to get a vehicle, even at short notice"
18.09.2025

Julia's been managing without her own car all her life. However, she uses car sharing to get to the vet or take a trip to the moor.
Julia, how do you get about?
On my e-bike or public transport – and occasionally using Mobility.
Is there a Mobility offer where you live?
We have a combi (estate) five minutes' walk from me, and there is an economy and combi (estate) in the neighbouring village. So I'm always able to get a vehicle, even at short notice.
How often do you use Mobility and for what purpose?
Roughly every two months to run big errands or take the cats to the vet. Or to visit Seleger Moor. You can get to it using public transport, but it takes twice as long.
Be honest: Are there situations when you miss having your own car?
Miss? No, I don't know any different.
What do you feel is the greatest positive effect of car sharing?
I'm super flexible and can reserve a vehicle anywhere on the spur of the moment whenever I need one.
«My first trip in an electric vehicle was exciting and I was instantly impressed.»
How could car sharing be made even better?
On very rare occasions it would be convenient to be able make a one-way trip.
What would you do if Mobility's offer did not exist?
Almost nobody around me has a vehicle either. If I needed one, I would have trouble organising one, or I would have to take a taxi.
What's your best car sharing tip for beginners?
Give yourself enough time, the errands always take longer than you think and you don't want to be driving back to the location stressed.
Have you had any memorable experiences using Mobility?
My first trip in an electric vehicle was exciting and I was instantly impressed. I now use electric vehicles to get about whenever possible.
