  • Mobility launches a “Budget” vehicle category in the shape of 100 Citroën C1 cars

  • Partnership with the Libero regional tariff association: the 45’000 or so Libero annual subscription holders now enjoy full access to Mobility's combined mobility offer


2008

  • The Mobility Cooperative publishes its first report under the international norms of the Global Reporting Initiative GRI

  • Mobility welcomes its 80’000th customer. Mobility’s car sharing users now have access to 2’200 vehicles at more than 1’100 Mobility locations throughout Switzerland


2006

  • SBB joins with Mobility to launch the “Click & Drive” offer, whereby Mobility cars can be hired without having to be a Mobility member


2005

  • Catalunya Carsharing successfully adopts the MobiSys car sharing offer in Barcelona


2001

  • Mobility Support AG launched as a subsidiary. It also offers its expertise to foreign interested parties


2000

  • Mobility relocates to Gütschstrasse 2 in Lucerne

  • Mobility now has more than 100 employees


1999

  • First adoption of the “MobiSys” technical platform by a foreign car sharing provider. DenzelDrive in Austria aims to use it as a basis for its countrywide car sharing offer. Online reservation now possible


1998

  • Joint venture with major distributor Migros to launch Mobility business car sharing


1997

  • Merger of ATG and ShareCom on 7 April, the Mobility Cooperative is born

  • 17’400 customers now have access to 760 vehicles


1995

  • ShareCom establishes a commercial firm, Car Sharing Company AG (CSC), and plans to integrate a self-developed on-board computer into its vehicles


1993

  • ATG introduces phone-based reservation options and ShareCom launches its ERS electronic reservation system – a self-service, interactive, phone-based bookings system


1991

  • ATG and ShareCom conclude a cooperation agreement permitting cross-use of their services


1987

  • Eight individuals come together to establish ATG, Auto Teilet Genossenschaft. They share one vehicle

  • The ShareCom cooperative is founded in Zurich Seebach. Opening balance: 17 members, one car
