QR invoices

PostFinance is due to take the red and orange payment slips off the market at the end of September 2022. For this reason, we will be sending out all Mobility invoices as QR invoices as of June 2022. We explain here what changes this entails and what you should bear in mind.

Use of QR invoices

Paying QR invoices

  • Like the previous payment slips, QR invoices can be paid via all the usual payment channels (e-banking, mobile banking, payment order or over the bank/post office counter). Other payment methods such as automatic debiting of your credit card or bank account (direct debit) are not affected by the changeover to the QR invoice.

  • Use the relevant payment slip with QR code for each new invoice. This allows payments to be allocated to the correct invoice.
  • Scanning the QR code and all payment information saves time and prevents typing errors. If you wish, you can also manually type in the payment information to the right of the QR code. However, we recommend time-saving payment using the QR code.
  • It is still possible to make payments over the counter of a post office branch or submit payment orders by post to your bank. Simply detach the lower section of the Mobility invoice in the usual way. Present this section with the payment information at the post office counter or send it in to your bank as a payment order.

Payment templates

  • Check as soon as you can whether you are using payment templates that have been set up based on an orange payment slip. If this is the case: delete the existing payment templates as these will no longer be executed from 30 September 2022.

  • Do not create any new payment templates. Otherwise we will not be able to allocate your payments to the correct invoice from 30 September 2022.

Alternative payment methods

  • You can enter your credit card as a means of payment for automatic debits on the customer portal. To do this, click on your name at the top right-hand corner after logging in > Profile > Payment > Change payment method > By credit card.

  • Alternatively, you can pay your outstanding invoices manually in the Mobility app or the customer portal using your credit card:

    • Customer portal: Log in, then click on “Show all” on the right under “Customer account”, and then on the button “Payment by credit card”.

    • App: Click on the menu at the top left (three bars), then on “Customer account” and on the button “Payment by credit card”.

  • If you would like to set up a direct debit procedure, you will find the form here.

Deposit credit card for statements

In the customer portal or the app, you can simply deposit your credit card. This makes it even easier for you to pay your bills manually or automatically.
