What it’s all about

This page provides important information for individuals and companies who would like to suggest a location to Mobility.

Our main focus is on parking spaces because these provide the basis for every Mobility location. Do you have a parking space in mind that you would like to suggest to us? Great! The following overview shows you which criteria must be met in order for a parking space to be suitable as a Mobility location. You will also learn what information can be added for a proposed location so we can assess the potential as best we can.

What a parking space needs to be like

These two criteria must be met in order for us to be able to consider your suggestion:

  • 24-hour accessibility: A Mobility location must be accessible on foot and by vehicle 24 hours a day. Access by means of an access system (e.g. long-term parking card for garage etc.) is of course also possible.

  • Minimum dimensions: The minimum dimensions (details below) per parking space must be met.

Are both criteria met? Find out more about the additional criteria and then submit your suggestion.

The minimum dimensions

  • Parallel parking
  • Perpendicular parking
  • Angled parking

The following information is not mandatory, but it will help us to better consider your suggestion. Complete as many of the following points as possible under “Further information about the location” in the following form:

  1. Reception: Our vehicles require network coverage (4G) at the location. All the better if you’ve already tested whether there is network coverage for mobile phones at the parking space.

  2. Proximity to a public transport stop: A nearby public transport stop improves the accessibility of a Mobility location. A distance of up to 500 m is ideal.

  3. Location and visibility: In terms of the location of a parking space, we distinguish between indoor parking spaces (e.g. underground car parks/multi-storey car parks) and outdoor parking spaces. The latter might be covered or uncovered. Outdoor parking spaces are advantageous due to visibility, which makes it easier for users to find the location.

  4. Electrification: If there is already a charging station at the parking space or at adjacent spaces, this gives us more flexibility.

  5. No obstacles: There should be no overly large obstacles (walls, trees, benches, posts, etc.) in the immediate vicinity of the parking space.

  6. No temporary closures: If recurring events at the site mean the parking space cannot be used for a time, this is a disadvantage.

  7. Growth potential: If it is possible to rent nearby parking spaces in future, this will make it even more attractive.
