After seven successful years at the helm of the Mobility Cooperative, CEO Roland Lötscher is leaving the company. The Board of Directors is now starting the search for a successor.

Roland Lötscher is stepping down as CEO of the Mobility Cooperative after seven years. Under his leadership, the car-sharing company has grown and developed sustainably. The number of customers has risen from under 200,000 to 285,000. There was also an increase of over 800 companies among business customers. Roland Lötscher has not only successfully guided Mobility through the challenging pandemic period, but has also driven forward the switch to electric cars, with the result that over 20 per cent of the fleet is now electric.

Under Roland Lötscher, Switzerland's largest car sharing provider has strengthened the cooperation and culture between the cooperative base and the company management. In addition, the new strategy was developed last year, with which Mobility has laid the foundations for the next intensive phase of transformation and growth.

Roland Lötscher and the Board of Directors have now jointly decided on a change of management for this new phase. "After seven intensive years, the right time has come for me to hand over the reins," says Roland Lötscher. "I am proud of what I have achieved with my team. Mobility is in a solid position today and is ideally equipped for the future."

Chairman of the Board of Directors Raoul Stöckle regrets Roland Lötscher's departure and praises his achievements: "Roland has successfully led the cooperative through a challenging phase, strengthened the organisation and laid the foundations for the transformation that has been initiated. The Board of Directors would like to expressly thank Roland for his outstanding commitment, his inspiring leadership and the valuable impetus he has given Mobility."

The corporate strategy will continue to be pursued, building on the measures already introduced. The Board of Directors is now starting the search for a successor.
