Mobility reduces prices up to February
03.11.2025

Car sharing pioneer Mobility is celebrating the UN International Year of Cooperatives – and is thanking the community for its loyalty. For four months, customers will receive 18% off all journeys during the week.
The Mobility Cooperative is now offering users a discount on car sharing journeys during the week. Up to the end of February 2026, private customers who use a Mobility car on working days will pay 18% less. The figure has been chosen deliberately as it indicates that 1 Mobility vehicle replaces 18 privately owned cars on average. Thanks to Mobility, around 40’000 fewer cars are on the roads in Switzerland.
Mobility wants to give something back
The United Nations (UN) has declared 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives. A good reason for Mobility to celebrate this sustainable form of organisation. Of the almost 300’000 users, 76’000 are cooperative members. “We want to give something back to them and all the other private users. After all, car sharing only works with a committed and fair community,” says Raoul Stöckle, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO a.i. of Mobility.
An incentive for car sharing
At the same time, the company wants to encourage even more people to try out Mobility and discover car sharing as an alternative or supplement to owning a private car. At the start of the new year, more and more invoices for your own car will be arriving in the post again. “In urban areas, many drivers could not only drive in a more environmentally conscious manner, but also massively cut costs if they switched to public transport or non-motorised transport combined with car sharing,” says Raoul Stöckle.
Expansion continues
With almost five million private cars in Switzerland, the potential of car sharing is far from exhausted. Mobility is therefore constantly expanding its range of vehicles and locations. This year alone, more than 200 additional vehicles will be available to users.
