Your own Mobility location: Our placement-share
Bring car sharing to where it’s needed. You let us know your needs and Mobility provides suitable vehicles and takes care of operation, maintenance, cleaning and insurance. In return, you pay an annual fee.
Key points at a glance
Having your own location is a good idea if you want to provide mobility for those around you – employees, residents or the general public.
This location is simultaneously part of the nationwide Mobility fleet.
At the same time, you can use more than 3’500 Mobility cars throughout Switzerland.
Mobility is responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing the location.
Mobility provides the vehicles – electric cars where possible and required.
We agree on a plannable cost model with you, with an annual flat rate and a defined utilisation target.
How the placement-share scheme works
You pay an annual vehicle flat rate. In addition, we agree an annual utilisation target for the location with you. This utilisation target includes both your own utilisation and utilisation by other Mobility customers. If it’s exceeded, you’ll benefit from a sponsor bonus. If it’s not achieved, the difference will be charged.
The vehicles are part of the nationwide Mobility fleet and can be reserved by all Mobility users. Once you have logged in to Mobility, your employees, residents and other target groups in the vicinity will be able not only to use the location, but have access to the entire Mobility fleet in Switzerland.

Important information about utilisation
Two things need to be determined for each person using Mobility.
1. EASY or PLUS?
Each person must have a subscription. Two primary products are available to choose from: mobilityEASY for occasional users (without monthly basic fee) and mobilityPLUS for frequent drivers. As a rule of thumb: mobilityPLUS pays off from as little as seven reservations per year.
You decide how access is organised. You can allocate access to a defined group of people – such as your employees – and define mobilityEASY or mobilityPLUS for these people yourself. Alternatively, after opening, you can advertise the location and the people in the vicinity – such as the general public – register by themselves and opt for EASY or PLUS.
Within an organisation, mobilityEASY and mobilityPLUS can be combined as desired – depending on the mobility needs of the individual person.

2. Liability reduction: yes or no
As part of the registration process with Mobility, liability reduction cover is also specified for each person. This reduces the policy deductible – the amount you pay yourself in the event of a claim, even if you have insurance – to a fixed maximum amount.
There are three levels to choose from: L with policy deductible CHF 0, M with CHF 250 and S with CHF 1,000 each for a monthly fee. If you only travel occasionally, you can also take out liability reduction cover for each journey instead of with a monthly subscription.
You can also waive the liability reduction. Without liability reduction, the policy deductible can amount to up to CHF 5,000 in the event of a claim.
