UNESCO World Heritage Landwasser Viaduct
If you continue towards the Albula Pass, there is something you shouldn’t miss; the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct Please note: The UNESCO World Heritage building cannot be seen from the road. Anyone wishing to marvel at the 142-metre-long and 65-metre-high bridge near Filisur can reach Graubünden’s most photographed sight in a 10-minute walk from the car park (also easy to do with pushchairs). If you prefer a slightly more breezy view, you can find more vantage point on the website.
Bergün: Railway museum and sledging fun
The Albula Pass (open and accessible only in summer) is one of the most picturesque and leisurely Alpine passes. The narrow road winds its way up from Filisur towards Bergün in tight bends at the edge of a deep gorge. The mountain village is worth a stop in both winter and summer!
As well as strolling through the old village centre, a stop at the Albula Railway Museum is recommended. There you can find out more about the History and significance of the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage route between Thusis and Tirano.
“Little Adventurer” specialises in family outings and has tested the Railway Museum for Mobility. Her conclusion: “The exhibition is particularly suitable for families as it is incredibly interactive. You can try out a lot for yourself, build, manoeuvre trains and much more. The children also receive a free puzzle booklet. If the riddles are solved correctly, there is even a surprise at the end.”
One last tip for winter, because even then, the trip to Bergün is worthwhile. Anyone looking for unforgettable winter action can take the train to Preda and sledge back to Bergün.

Graubünden Ferien and Mobility are sustainably mobile
Graubünden Ferien and Mobility are responding to the growing need for clean mobility during holidays. As a result, the “Graubünden sustainably mobile” project started. This aims to develop combined mobility between public transport and e-car sharing and establish it among holidaymakers and locals alike. The aim of this offer is to ensure that long distances (particularly the journey) are shifted to public transport and that only shorter distances are covered locally by car.
