Vehicle manual Škoda Enyaq
Instructions as PDF- Disconnect the charge cable
Press the button with the lock symbol in the central console next to the hazard light switch and remove the charging cable at the rear right of the vehicle. The cable remains on the charging station (and must be hung back in the holder). Close the flap of the charge connector.
- Drive
If you haven’t already done so, log in at the checkpoint with your Mobility Card. Press the brake to start the vehicle. If the green “Ready” indicator does not appear in the display, press the start button.
Please note: if too much time elapses between your first log-in with the card and setting off, hold the Mobility Card up to the checkpoint again.
When “Ready” appears in the display, the vehicle is ready to drive (noiseless). Otherwise, repeat the process. The handbrake may have to be released.
Engage gear “D” (normal forward gear) or “B” (forward gear with high recuperation when releasing the accelerator) or “R” (reverse) as required, while always applying the brake
pressed.
- On the road
The engine of an electric car is virtually silent. Up to 30 km/h, however, the vehicle generates a synthetic sound to alert pedestrians.
Eco Mode – Range
ECO mode (in the control panel in the upper central console) is a function that optimises the range of your vehicle. It affects certain on-board systems in the vehicle such as the air conditioning and power steering. An anticipatory driving style also increases the range.Driving position “B”
In driving position “B”, the motor braking effect is more marked. This helps to increase battery charging during deceleration (braking).Range according to the WLTP test cycle: 494 km
Range below normal driving behaviour: 380 kmPlease note: if the range is less than 20 km, the vehicle must be driven to a charge point immediately.
- After completing your journey
Park the vehicle in reverse at the Mobility parking space – the charging socket is located on the right-hand side at the rear. Engage driving position P (park), pull the handbrake and switch off the car. Open the charge flap.
Take the charging cable from the charge point and insert it into the vehicle. If available, hold the “Home charging card” from the card holder in the glove compartment up to the charging point to start the charge process. Lock the car with the Mobility Card (hold card up to the checkpoint).
The charging process starts automatically. Check this by looking at the LED on the vehicle connector. This will be flashing green if the car is being charged properly.
Charging en route
- Locations of Swisscharge rapid charge points
- On-the-go charging at a rapid charge point
Engage driving position P (park), pull the handbrake and switch off the car.
Open the charge flap.
Take the charging cable from the DC charging station and connect it to sockets “B” and “C”. Start the charge process with the charging card in the vehicle’s glove box. To do this, follow the instructions on the charge point display. If you have any problems, contact the number at the charging station.
Range after 20 minutes of rapid charging at maximum charging rate: ~ 166 km
Time required for 80% charge: ~ 38 minsThe vehicle has two sockets under the charge flap:
“B” = AC charge, e.g. at the Mobility location.
“C” = DC rapid charging. For rapid charging, sockets “B” and “C” are used in
combination.{ "_attributes": { "type": "text" } } - On-the-go charging – Type 2 AC charge point
Proceed as for charging at a rapid charge point. In some cases, the charge cables are permanently connected to the charge point; otherwise use the charging cable in the boot of the vehicle. Don’t forget to take it with you when you’ve finished.
Depending on the provider, the charging process is started automatically via an app or payment by credit card (the customer can bill Mobility if payment by credit card is required). The charging card in the glove compartment of the vehicle can also be used. If necessary, contact the charge point provider.
If the charging process has been started correctly, LED “A” at the vehicle socket will flash green. Check this is the case.
Range after 20 minutes of Type 2 AC charging at maximum charging rate: ~ 18 km
Time required for 80% charge: ~ 5 hours ~ 57 mins{ "_attributes": { "type": "text" } } - Additional charging cable
If there are no charging cables at a charge point, you’ll find one in the boot of the vehicle. This is compatible with charge points which have a Type 2 socket. Don’t forget to put it back in the car boot after charging.
If the charging process has been started correctly, LED “A” at the vehicle socket will flash green. Check this is the case.
