Vehicle manual – Microlino
- Disconnect the charge cable
Open the vehicle with the Mobility Card (hold it up to the checkpoint). After opening the vehicle, the charging cable is unlocked, pull out the charging cable and attach it to the charge point. The cable remains at the charge point (and must be hung back in the holder). Close the flap of the charging.
- Opening the vehicle from the outside
If you have not already done so, please report to the checkpoint using your Mobility Card.
The button for opening the front door is located on the passenger side below the rear-view mirror.
- Drive
To start the vehicle, press the brake and turn the mechanical key in the ignition lock to the first or second level to the right and wait until the display is ready. The remote key is used to open the boot; it does not have a key bit.
Please note: The automatic transmission does not have a P position, but has a hand brake, which must always be applied when parking!
To engage the gear, keep the brake depressed and turn the rotary switch below the left window to the “D” or “R” position. The gear is shown accordingly on the display.
Release the hand brake, press the accelerator and off you go.
The Microlino has a maximum speed of 90 km.
Driving on motorways is permitted.
Please note that the Microlino is considered a “small motor vehicle” (category L7e) and therefore the safety level is lower than that of a conventional car.
- Opening the vehicle from the inside
Please note: The button for opening the front door is well hidden: it is located to the left of the mobile phone holder on the back of the black dash pole. See sticker (OPEN).
- Open the boot
Press and hold the middle button on the radio key for 3—5 seconds.
Alternatively, scroll to the left of the menu to the second menu page and press the trunk symbol.
- After completing your journey
Park the vehicle at the Mobility bay in one of the bays specifically designed for Microlino! Fully apply the handbrake and turn off the ignition. Open the charge flap. Take the charging cable from the charge point and insert it into the vehicle. Lock the car using your Mobility Card, Swisspass or Mobility app. The charging session starts automatically.
Charging en route
- Swisscharge app
Find a charging station with the Swisscharge app. The Microlino can be charged at Type 2 charging stations.
Some of the charging cables are fixed to the columns, otherwise use the charging cable in the boot of the vehicle or under the boot cover. Don’t forget to take it with you when you’ve finished.
Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.
Take the charging card out of the card holder (to the left of the driver’s seat in the bottle holder) and start the charging process with the card on the pillar. Follow the instructions on the charging station display. If you have any problems, contact the number on the charging station.
If the charging card in the vehicle does not work, the charging session can be started with a credit card at most charging stations. In this case, you can calculate the Mobility charge.
Please note: A Mircolino charges more slowly than a conventional electric car. The range increases by approx. 25—40 km per hour at the charging station (depending on the charge level of the battery).
- Additional charging cable
If there are no charging cables at a charge point, you’ll find one in the boot of the vehicle. This is compatible with charge points which have a Type 2 plug (socket “2”). Don’t forget to put it back in the car boot after charging.
