The last Mobility Smart
An era is coming to an end. We loved the cute little two-seater. It was a perfect city runaround. Over a period of 20 years, a total of 550 Smart cars were out on the road for Mobility, taking thousands of people to their destinations. Now the time has finally come: the last one is due to leave us. And you can bid for it for a good cause! But it gets even better: The vehicle will be handed over to you personally by TV presenter Röbi Koller at Mobility headquarters in Rotkreuz – including a ride!

On Ricardo will be held on the 7th The online auction was launched on June 2021. Anyone can take part – you don’t have to be a Mobility driver. From now on, you have one week to place your highest bid so that the last Mobility Smart is yours alone. You can always share it too, of course. And the money is not going to Mobility. we donating all the money to a good cause. Which one? You can also decide this by voting on instagram.

20 years of Mobility Smart
We put the first Smart into service in September 2001. The brand was always an important part of Mobility – a perfect match for our community that brought joy to many a car sharer. Our entire Smart fleet covered a grand total of 43’000’000 kilometres over these 20 years. Sound like a lot? It is! 1’083 times round the Earth or 113 times to the moon. That’s not where the Smarts went of course – more like Öugstschummuhorn. Never heard of it? It’s in the canton of Valais.
Bye, bye Smart – we’ll miss you
We’ve gradually been taking the little red speedsters out of service for some time now. As two-seaters, they're somewhat limited in use – especially as compared to other small cars. But it’s with a heavy heart that we’re now putting our very last Smart out of circulation. Great opportunity for you, though: get your hands on a piece of Swiss history and support a good cause at the same time. As well as being in excellent condition and perfectly refurbished by our service team, the car has an excellent range of fittings.
