Reduced standing times thanks to Mobility’s network

Outside the times you block (e.g. in the evening or at weekends), your Mobility pool vehicle is available to our network of over 280’000 Mobility customers. This is exactly how shared mobility works: instead of standing around unused in the car park, the Mobility car’s rented out to people using our app. This is how your company contributes to sustainable neighbourhood development. And by the way, from a certain level of use we also offer you a Sharer Bonus in the form of a share of drive volumes.

If your location proves to be particularly popular with Mobility users, you have the option of relinquishing your placement sharing – which has the effect of eliminating your annual vehicle fee. You continue to benefit from your block times (for CHF 299.00/year)*.

What does a Mobility Placement-Share cost?
As a sponsor of a Mobility location, you pay each year the fixed costs for the vehicle fee and the variable costs for vehicle use (hours and kilometres). If the specified utilisation target has not been met by the end of the year, you are charged the difference from the utilisation target. If the utilisation target is exceeded, you receive a Sharer Bonus that reduces your costs. Both your journeys and those of third parties (e.g. private individuals) count towards achieving the utilisation target.
Example: The annual vehicle fee for a VW ID.3 is CHF 5’900*. If you use the vehicle for around CHF 100* per week and third parties use the vehicle for an additional CHF 70* per week, there are no additional costs for you.

What are the requirements for obtaining a vehicle?
The most important criterion is a parking space that is accessible 24 hours a day. Access by means of an access system (e.g. long-term parking card for garage etc.) is of course also possible. If you would like an electric car, a power line is also required. The minimum dimensions must also be met (W x H): 1.90 m x 5-6 m for parallel parking, 2.50 m x 5 m for perpendicular parking and 2.50 m x 4.80 m for angled parking.
