Our “E-car sharing without own charging station” pilot ends on 31 March. The cars at the pilot locations will be replaced by fossil fuel vehicles on 1 and 2 April. The locations will remain unchanged and the cars can be used as usual after the exchange. The WhatsApp group will be active until 31 March and then closed.

Over the course of one year, we have tested this concept at a total of 16 locations in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland. The aim was to find out how e-car sharing could work without its own charging infrastructure at the location. Over the coming months, we will evaluate the findings and provide information on the results and potential next steps in due course.

You were a special part of this pilot as a Charging Angel. Thanks to your willingness, we were able to test this concept in everyday car sharing. A dedicated community of Charging Angels has emerged. For us, this is one of the most important findings of this pilot: When Mobility users get together, they can try out challenging new ideas.
